Celebration
It seems that here at Cornerstone we are regularly celebrating good things that have happened - usually with a spread of food! By the time you read this you will have received a flyer inviting you to another event "Celebrating a Year in the Life of Cornerstone" - this is something you can't afford to miss - but you will need to book a place please so that we can be sure there is enough food for everyone.
You will also have received the Report Book with a record of all that has happened in various sections of church life in the last year and also some Aims and Objectives for the coming year. I want to encourage you to read through the booklet and enjoy all that has happened even if you haven't been there - as an incentive there will be a 20 Questions written quiz with a prize for the person who gives 100% correct answers without referring to the book on the evening.
Starting at 6.30 pm with Jacket Potatoes and a variety of fillings, moving into church at 7.30 pm to enjoy reminiscing about the events of last year - see some photos (you may even be on one), sing some songs of Worship to give Thanks to God, elect Elders and Ministry Team Leaders, share some of the highlights to enthuse us about this coming year and what we might achieve together for God's glory.
I'm looking forward to meeting you on
Wednesday March 10th.
Don't miss out on this SPECIAL OCCASION.
Bring the children to share in the meal.
You have to be a Church Member to vote at the Elders election but we welcome friends and visitors as well to this function.
Terry Pearce
Church Secretary
