Youth Club

Youth Club meets from 7:30-9:00pm on every Tuesday evening throughout the year (except bank holidays). It is open to all young people of 11 years of age and over.

Facilities include table tennis, darts, games consoles, computer games, board games, team games, craftwork, tuck shop -- and more.

We offer the Young people in this area friendship and hospitality, and provide a location for them to come to.

Our vision is to reach beyond operating a social club and to help them take a step forward towards becoming responsible adults and pointing them one day to the sacrifice that Christ made on the cross.

Cornerstone Youth Club meets every Tuesday during term time from 7:30 to 9:00pm at a cost of £1.

It is open to everybody who has started year 7 and above. Every week we have activities throughout the building including badminton, xbox and playstation, board games, bean bags, snooker/pool, soft football, tuck shop and crafts. A very popular activity is cooking which we have done a lot of this year! Earlier in the year we had a trip to ringoing which was great fun- even some of the leaders were spotted having a go! In the relaxed atmosphere relationships are built up between leaders and young people which lead to great discussions. Quite a few young people have started the youth Alpha course and are exploring the Christian faith.

Since September we have had Oli Barker helping out which has been great as he has loads of energy and it has been good to have 2 young leaders helping as well.

As we have such a healthy bank balance we are looking to buy lots of new equipment in 2010 to enhance our weekly activities. Thank you to all the team for their commitment to Youth Club in 2009 and looking forward to a great 2010.
