Light Years - Stepping Stones

Year 4 - Year 6

In June and July we talked about Elijah, and the children were encouraged to trust in God who provides wherever we are. We had a couple of weeks where both Stepping Stones and Pebbles were together and the older children performed a drama for the younger ones which went down well with all concerned. Father’s day was also a success with both groups decorating a plant pot and potting up a Sunflower for their dad’s. We also planted one for our father, God. Look out for it in church to see how it is doing? Those children that will be moving up to the Grid in September (5 in total) had a trial run one Sunday which seemed to go smoothly and the children learnt that God always keeps his promises but in his time not ours!
